Clashoftheboards, an independent enterprise by conglomerate of educational powerhouses, was launched on Jan 1, 2010 with a prime motive to spread awareness amongst students and guardians about many aspects of existing primary and secondary education system. The aim of this online portal is to touch various aspects around the national education framework. In an attempt to involve the student community, the body conducted a national test on republic day i.e. 26th Jan, 2010. The test was received exceptionally by students from across the country. The top boards which saw participation were mainly CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE and SSC. The conglomerate announced the results – one overall topper and one winner from each board. “It is extremely gratifying to see the talent today competing on an online forum, something which most of the academia wouldn’t have dreamt of a few years back. We will constantly strive towards doing out-of-the-box activities to build awareness amongst students on contemporary trends without making it a rote exercise” says Mr Sudhanshu Sinhal, the chairman of the governing body, in a statement issued in Mumbai yesterday.

ClashOfTheBoards.com seeks to continue going a lot more activities as the new academic session for the students starts. The focus this time will be more around competitions and their conflicts with board preparation – something which has been a constant sore point for many parents and students.
