Frequently Asked questions (FAQ'S)
About IGCSE & IB Curriculum |
How IGCSE / IB different from other Boards ?
|
| Although the depth & flexibility provided by all boards is more or less at par. It is the "Methodology" & "Delivery of Content" that makes all the difference.IGCSE / IB programme are more practical and application based. It believers more in all round - development of children. Their exams test student's knowledge and reasoning, problem solving abilities and not their memory and speed. In I.B & IGCSE there will be more projects, more activities, more interactive, team base learning & enquiry based learning. They arose curiosity in the minds of students & make them lifelong learners. Here you compete with yourself. No peer competition, no head on competition.
The programmes are conducted as per the international syllabus, under the strict study structure of the University of Cambridge / I.B organization, with examination papers sent and marked by the CIE / IB thus ensuring the same quality standards experienced by a student studying for a similar programme anywhere in the world. In fact faculty members are also trained by them to enable them to impart similar quality standards in teaching. It is a guaranteed passport for those students who want to pursue their college education abroad. |
